What is The Edit?

Young people’s voices and views should be heard and creativity shared. The Edit is a digital storytelling challenge series that gives young people aged 8-18 the chance to:

  • Fiction: Produce a 30-second film trailer inspired by the magic of Sky Cinema, letting students’ imaginations take centre stage.

  • Fact: Create a 90-second news report on topics that matter, bringing real-world issues to life through storytelling.

Both series come with ready-made lessons designed to align with the education curriculums across the UK and Ireland. They’re easy to integrate into your existing lesson plans, making it simple to bring digital storytelling into your classroom.
