In just one year, over 8,500 students have explored the art of storytelling at Sky Up Academy Studios Elstree, immersing themselves in hands-on media experiences and building their storytelling confidence.

This year, Sky Up Academy Studios proudly hosted two winning schools from our Wicked and Jurassic poster competitions, two standout creative challenges that invited students to design bold, expressive posters inspired by iconic stories.
Each winning school was invited to Sky Studios Elstree for a special experience: watching the films that inspired their designs and creating their own original media content. These events celebrated student creativity, storytelling flair, and the power of visual expression.
Celebrating Storytelling
In June 2025, Sky Up Academy Studios hosted its first Celebration of Storytelling, an inspiring showcase of student-created films, media projects, and personal stories.
The event marked a powerful moment to reflect on a year of creativity and celebrate the voices shaping our future.
